Founded in 1973, ERA Countrywood Realty is a full service real estate company.  From our inception, we operated as an independent company whose market area consisted of Chicagoland's North/Northwest Suburbs, namely South Barrington, Barrington, Barrington Hills, Hoffman Estates, Schaumburg, Palatine, Inverness, Streamwood and Hanover Park.

In 1989, ERA Countrywood Realty  joined the ERA network.  This affiliation enabled us to expand our market area based on the name recognition and the products and services ERA offers.  Recently, ERA Countrywood Realty was recognized by our national headquarters as ranking in the top 100 ERA offices out of over 3,000 offices.

ERA Countrywood Realty belongs to three multiple listing services.   The two local services are MAP MLS and the Multiple Listing Service of Northern Illinois (MLSNI).  As an ERA affiliate, we also belong to ERA's National MLS.  The affiliations allow us to list your property on the Internet.  This gives our sellers' homes maximum exposure to other real estate agents and potential purchasers.  We currently have a staff of approximately 30 agents servicing properties that range in price from $66,000 to $6,000,000.  Through our in-house Relocation Department, we've had the opportunity to work with many relocation companies.
